In this third month of inpatient service, I saw about 45 new consults. Still not as much as that first month from hell.

    • Pseudomonas aeruginosa, diphtheroids, & methicillin resistant Staphyloccocus aureus ischial osteomyelitis
    • Right great toe osteomyelitis
    • Enterococcus, diphtheroids & methicillin sensitive Staphyloccocus ischial osteomyelitis
    • Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus and diphtheroids right toe osteomyelitis
    • Left thumb paronychia
    • Proteus mirabilis sternal wound infection/osteomyelitis
    • Methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus vertebral osteomyelitis
    • Right calcaneus osteomyelitis
    • Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus prosthetic left knee infection
  3. CARDIAC
    • Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus endocarditis (3)
    • Methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus endocarditis
    • Enterococcus faecalis endocarditis
    • Presumed Acinetobacter baumanii aortic endocarditis
    • Presumed methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus endocarditis
  4. DERMATOLOGIC
    • Drug hypersensitivity rash
    • Methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus furunculosis
    • Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus perineal abscess, post-op
    • Left groin super-infected hematoma

  13. NEUROLOGIC
    • Enterococcus, Proteus mirabilis & Escherichia coli post-surgical ventriculostomy infection with cerebral abscesses

    • Multi-lobar pneumonia
    • Haemophilus influenza ventilator associated pneumonia (2)
    • Enterobacter cloacae ventilator associated pneumonia
    • Serratia marcesens ventilator assocated pneumonia
    • Post-operative ventilator associated pneumonia
